Day - 1

Arrival. Amsterdam city tour & canal cruise

Amsterdammers have always been fiercely independent, and this tour will give you all the gossip about some of this city's most colourful events. We'll visit the stately Royal Palace and busy Dam Square at the centre of the city. Explore the beautiful Jordaan, once a working class neighbourhood that now commands some of the highest property prices in Holland. Spot the tower of the Westerkerk church, where Rembrant, master of Dutch painting, is buried. Then, stop a moment at the anonymous-looking building that sheltered Anne Frank, Holland's most beloved daughter, before she and her family were tragically discovered by the Nazis. Wander the quaint streets and discover the countless tiny churches and beautiful bridges in the city of canals. Then explore the more controversial side of Amsterdam with a wander through the infamous Red Light District, right at the heart of the old city. We'll also pass the city's famous coffee shops, where locals and tourists alike gather to enjoy more than just coffee. Evening canal cruise :
Absorb the canal-front sights of Amsterdam on a leisurely 75-minute sightseeing cruise. Take a seat in a comfortable, glass-topped boat, and enjoy the views as you glide along the city's UNESCO World Heritage-listed canals and listen to the informative audio commentary.

Day - 2

Visit the Rijksmuseum

Visit the Rijksmuseum, one of the most famous museums in the world, and enjoy fast-lane entry with this ticket. Stroll through the museum's more than 80 galleries while marveling at the 8,000 treasures that tell the story of Dutch art and history. Home to the largest collection of Rembrandts, the Rijksmuseum also houses Rembrandt's best-known creation the Night Watch. See large collections of other important Dutch Masters from the Golden Age: Johannes Vermeer, Jan Steen and Frans Hals. The Rijksmuseum offers a comprehensive Multimedia Tour, available in nine languages. Various tours will take you through the highlights, the renovated building, and the museum's various sections. You can buy the Multimedia Tour at the multimedia desk (price of E5 is not included in the admission ticket). The Multimedia Tour is also available as a free app, which can be downloaded from the app store at no extra charge.

Day - 3

Excursion to Volendam, Marken, Edam and Windmills

Join this magical full day tour and embark on a journey from Amsterdam to the picturesque countryside of the Netherlands. Sit back and enjoy the ride through the scenic landscape, dotted with Windmills, canals and charming little villages. First stop is Marken, a quaint fishing village where the traditional Dutch way of life can still be seen on the streets. Your knowledgeable guide will walk you through this hole in time and let you in on the history of this town. You will even enjoy a visit to a traditional wooden shoemaker. From Marken you board the comfortable Marken Express and cruise along to Volendam. After disembarking in Volendam you have free time to roam around explore this delightful fishing village, do a little shopping, or have your photo taken dressed in traditional Volendam costume. Lunch will be served along the dyke. Your adventure continues to a little town famously associated for centuries with cheese - Edam. Try the renowned cheese at a special tasting before exploring the town, once a former shipyard and home to one of Holland's largest churches, the Grote Kerk. As you stroll down the cobblestoned streets, admire the picturesque houses and bridges that crisscross the canals of Edam. This will be a day of memories to keep forever.

Day - 4

Delft, The Hague & Madurodam

Come along for a fascinating day of Dutch tradition and culture that includes a visit to the famous town of Delft. The Kingdom of the Netherlands is one of the European capitals of the arts of our times, and on this special sightseeing tour you will not only contemplate some of its most important landmarks, you will also discover its traditional hand painted pottery. Let the adventure begin as you take a scenic bus ride over to Rotterdam, home to the 185 metre (600ft) tall Euromast Tower, the city´s tallest structure. Travel up to the top, where you will be able to admire spectacular views as far as the eye can see - on a clear day as far as 30 kilometres! Gaze over the town below including the port and the Iconic Erasmus Bridge to name but a few. Enjoy a city tour of the most iconic locations and spectacular monuments Rotterdam has to offer, including a stop at the impressive Markthal, a gigantic covered market brimming with fresh produce stalls and delicatessens selling delicious gastronomic specialties - Ideal for food lovers! Next, continue to Delft, where you will enjoy some free time for lunch (not included). In this stunning medieval town, you will visit one of the last remaining Delftware Factories, famous for their blue and white ceramics. Once there, you will be invited to delve into the charming building and admire countless pieces of delicately hand-painted Delftware. Thanks to your guide, you'll soon know everything there is to know about this quaint craft. After stepping into the curious world of pottery, you make your way around The Hague, home to the most important Dutch buildings. Pass the Peace Palace and the oldest House of Parliament that is still in use to this very day! You will also see Noordeinde Palace, the working palace of the Dutch King. Finally, Feel like a giant in Madurodam, the renowned miniature theme park, and an incredible tourist destination. You will find a 1:25 scaled down representations of the charming countryside, villages, and various historic buildings of the Netherlands.

Day - 5

Keukenhof Gardens

Hop on the comfortable bus and enjoy hassle free and efficient travel from Amsterdam centre to the impressive gardens of Keukenhof within the hour. Enjoy the ride and take in the Dutch landscape en route. Visit at your own leisure and make sure your camera has enough battery to capture those memorable flower photo's! After your visit, hop on the bus to return to Amsterdam. There are frequent departures back to Amsterdam.
